Hi, I'm Christine! Over ten years I have been capturing family memories in the DMV area. Now the proud mom of my own baby, I'm even more aware of how special these milestone memories are, and how quickly our babies grow.  I'm dedicated to preserving these memories so while you're in the thick of parenthood, you can trust that your moments are being preserved for future years of enjoyment.

Christine is gifted at setting those around her at ease. Her easy going nature creates a relaxed environment, taking the pressure off parents and little ones.  

Booking your Session is simple

Pick Your Collection
The base package is an hour long photo session, yielding about 100 images. For milestones life events like a new baby, we can create a package to carry you through multiple sessions.

Set a Date
Once you decide what you want. I'll send you custom proposal with coverage options. To reserve your date, sign your contract with a 25% retainer.

Download and Print
After your session, you can print images directly from your gallery to hang in your home and gift to family. Ask about designing heirloom albums.

The Process

From maternity and newborn, to graduating seniors, extended family and everything in between. Family sessions are your life sessions.

Maternity

Maternity can be done outside in a beautiful location or at home for a more personal feel. I recommend doing maternity in your third trimester, around week 30-35. Sessions can be just mom-to-be, or could include her partner, older siblings, or surrogate parents. And yes, pets are always welcome!

Any of the following can be either an individual session or we can create a custom collection just for you. For multiple sessions, special rates are applied and locked in when offerings are added during initial booking. 

Fresh 48

Fresh 48s are often done in the hospital, immediately following birth. Designed to catch the raw, unfiltered joy of meeting your new baby. This can be just for the new parents, or timed to include sibling meetings (hospital policies allowing).

Newborn

Within 2 weeks of your baby arriving, I'll come to your house to photography portraits of your baby, the whole family, and the nursery. We work at the baby's pace, taking everything nice and slow.

Milestone

Often for baby's in their first year, a milestone session is to capture their rapid growth. Common age groupings are newborn, 6 months, and one year.

Cake Smash

Cake sash can be done on a seamless background or in the home if there is enough space. Be prepared-this is a very messy affair. While we can do an abreviated cake smash as part of a one year session, it is not advised to do a cake smash as part of a party.

One Year

365 days old! Let's celebrate your little one's first year with portraits of your baby (you'll be amazed at the difference a year makes), along with any milestones like sitting up or maybe their first steps.

Yearly Portraits

Each year as your kids grow, let's get together to update individual portraits of each kid, each kid with their parents, and the siblings. As each year passes, it's fun to get creative with documenting their interests. Perfect for yielding images for grandparent gifts and holiday cards.

Extended Family

Arguably one of the most meaningful sessions, let me handle corralling your extended family. Perfect for combinations like full family, each family group, adult kids with parents, grandkids with grandparents, and all cousins. These sessions are time based, not based per head. Each hour after the first is charged at $400.

Seniors

A portrait session to celebrate graduation from high school, college, or grad school. Best locations are either at the school, or scenic location.

Just Life

You don't need kids as an excuse to update your family portrait. You and your partner (and pet) deserve some love. Some of the most creative sessions are with just adults and dogs. Let's plan a date and I'll tag along to capture your love!

What will you leave behind as your Legacy of Love?

After your session, there is one final step and that is to print your photos in your album. Our hand-crafted albums are built to outlive us, to be passed down through the generations. Now that I have my own little one, I am so conscious that one of the best gifts I can give Sammy is proof of how much he has been loved throughout his life.
You can also add a duplicate mini album to gift to grandparents.
